Beta privacy notice
Privacy
CPG Playbook is in beta. We collect the information needed to run the waitlist, create accounts, support product workflows, and improve the app with early users. This notice is a beta summary, not a substitute for attorney-reviewed privacy policy before general release.
What We Collect
We may collect contact details, brand and role information, waitlist responses, account activity, feedback, uploaded brand assets, and product workflow content that users choose to add, including chat messages and saved playbooks.
How We Use It
We use this data to operate the beta, route support and feedback, maintain security, improve product quality, and prepare requested CPG workflows. AI-assisted outputs remain draft/review surfaces unless a user approves the next step. We do not sell your data and do not run third-party advertising trackers during beta.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the product, including Supabase (database and authentication), Railway (hosting), OpenRouter (AI routing to enabled model providers), Resend (transactional email), and PostHog for product analytics when configured. Chat content needed to generate responses is sent to AI providers through OpenRouter.
Cookies and local storage
We use Supabase authentication cookies to keep you signed in, browser local storage for preferences and app state, and, when analytics is enabled, PostHog persistence via local storage and cookies. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies during beta.
Beta pricing and payments
Beta is free. We do not collect payment card data during beta. When paid plans launch, card payments will be processed by Stripe (or another compliant processor). Playbook will receive billing status and customer identifiers, not raw card numbers stored on our systems.
Beta Emails
If you join the waitlist, we use your email to send beta access and launch updates. Every outreach email should include a way to opt out, and you can also email us directly to be removed.
Public Surfaces
Public brand, profile, and MarketCPG listings are shown only from public-safe fields and consented/published records. Verification labels default to self-reported unless stronger evidence has been stored.
Terms and mandatory law
Accepting beta terms via checkbox covers contract terms between you and Playbook. It does not waive mandatory privacy, cookie, email, or payment regulations. See our Terms notice.
